Just a few hours ago the long awaited details of the first ever World Tour race in Asia were released. The 2011 Tour of Beijing will take place on the rolling roads between Chinas capital city of beijing and the famous Ming Tombs before retracing to finish at the Olympic Stadium (Birds Nest), where the race also starts with an 11-km ITT.
The race route is a rolling one, with the toughest racing expected to take place on stage 3, where the route scalps some 3 first category climbs, although all are less than 800 meter high. The scheduling and parcours of the race should ensure that Asia sees the best field ever assembled for a race on the continent.
