Kelly Benefit Strategies Pro Cycling today announced OptumHealth as co-title sponsor for the 2011 season. As of today, the team will be called Kelly Benefit Strategies–OptumHealth Pro Cycling. The team is managed by Minneapolis based Circuit Global Sports Management.

"We are pleased to welcome OptumHealth to the team for the 2011 season," said Charles Aaron, managing director of Circuit Global Sports Management. "We feel that this partnership will help take our team to the next level and continues our goal of partnering with leading brands that have a strong commitment to health and wellness."

OptumHealth has enjoyed a strong business partnership with Kelly Benefit Strategies and this co-sponsorship relationship will help to drive the team’s growth, visibility and success for the future.

"We are unabashedly proud, vocal proponents of active, healthy lifestyles. As co-sponsor of one of the country’s top cycling teams, we can create greater visibility and awareness about the importance of fitness, health and well-being," said Tom McEnery, chief marketing officer for OptumHealth. "Professional cycling in the United States continues to grow as a major spectator sport and serves as a great way to reach health-conscious consumers. This particular partnership provides a highly visible and mission-consistent opportunity to both advance our message and drive awareness of our products and services." OptumHealth joins an elite group of organizations for the 2011 season including Energizer and Schick Asia Pacific, Medifast, Orbea, SRAM and World Bicycle Relief.

In the 2011 season the team will continue to expand its international schedule, making a return to Asia in the early season for the OCBC Cycle Singapore. KBS will also make a trip to Europe in the spring to prepare for the Amgen Tour of California in May.
